Brazil's meat and soy exports surge from January to June 2005
Brazilian farm exports hit US$ 20.2 billion from January to June this year, a historic high and 10.2 percent year-on-year increase.
Soy continued to lead the farm export sector, with US$4.36 billion in revenue, although international soy prices have fallen 20.03 percent.
Brazilian meats (beef, pork and poultry) came in second with US$3.63 billion in export revenue, a 31.56 percent year-on-year increase.
