Seamark Group's profit rises on increased sales 
 

 

As exports of seafood cross Europe increased, the UK unit of Seamark Group's profit for 2013 rose to £1.4 million (US$2.40 million).

 

Seamark's sales to Germany increased from £15 millon (US$25.69 million) to £18.1 million (US$31.0 million) in 2013, making the country the most important market for the group. Sales to Belgium went up from £3.95 million (US$6.76 million) to £6.7 million (US$11.47 million), while exports to France increased to £3.9 million (US$6.69 million) from £2.8 million (US$4.80 million).

 

Seamark supplies seafood to leading retailers, food industries, wholesalers and distributors in Europe, including Carrefour, Metro, Makro, Costco and Brake Brothers.
