China warns of corn price increase in July

China's corn price will rise in general fueled by hefty cost, according to the State Grain and Edible Oil Information Centre.

The rise of fuel price have created a spike in railway and highway transportation costs and this would be transmitted downstream.

Other costs such as production and storage are also going up, adding to the impetus for rising prices.
