Ukraine's pork prices up by 0.5 - 6.1 percent in June

 

 

Pork prices in 18 regions of Ukraine has increased by 0.5 - 6.1 percent in June to UAH18.51 (US$3.69) to UAH28.00 (US$5.59) per kilogramme, according to data from the State Price Control Inspectorate.

 

At the same time, pork prices fell by 0.1-4.9 percent to UAH 20.76-21.63 per kilogramme in four regions.

 

In three regions pork prices remained at the level of UAH 19.50-20.56 per kilogramme.

 

The Inspectorate said the highest price for pork in June was recorded on the markets of Kyiv at UAH 28.00 per kilogramme.

 

The lowest price for pork meat was registered on the markets of Sevastopol at UAH 18.50 per kilogramme.

 

In May, prices for pork meat on the markets of 18 regions rose by 0.2-5.8 percent compared to April, to UAH 18.15-27.33 per kilogramme.
