Pork demand remained slack in China, but failed to drag down prices as hog releases shrank of late. Hog prices in most regions converged towards RMB13/kg while the average price of pork carcass inched up 0.37% over the week. Sales of pork carcass reduced 1.73% to 8,814 tonnes amid dwindling hog supply.
