Slower lysine price falls in China, market stays weak

Lysine prices in China moved lower during the week ending July 9.

Even though hog market remained stable of late, tumbling soymeal prices curtailed the demand for lysine.

Price quotes of 65-percent lysine and 70-percent lysine were at RMB5/kg and RMB6-6.20/kg respectively.

Prices of lysine will be under pressure in the coming period even though producers have plans to cut production.

RMB1=US$0.1614 (Jul 9)
