Record-low China methionine prices inch lower
Prices of methionine slid further during the week ending July 9.
Weak livestock prices dampened the buying interest for methionine during the period in review. Nonetheless, prices reduced only slightly as record-low methionine prices had little scope to fall further.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine reduced to the range of RMB26.80-27.30/kg.
Demand for methionine is expected to be poor amid cautious mood.
