Azerbaijan is confident about grain production and is expected to produce 400,000 tonnes this year. 

He also said that despite 26,000 hectares of grain area were flooded this year, the country will have no problems with grain, said chief of department of the Agricultural Ministry Sabir Veliyev.

The official believes that Azerbaijan produces enough grain to meet the needs. In addition, the country imports 87,000 tonnes of grain every month. Therefore, there are sufficient reserves.
