China methionine prices stabilise, buyers stay cautious
Prices of methionine were mostly unchanged during the week ending July 7.
Methionine prices stabilised as most traders have cleared inventories over the previous weeks.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine lowered to the range of RMB38.50-41/kg.
Buying interest is expected to be weak as feed millers are wary that weak egg prices and restrictions to live poultry trade might trigger another round of inventory downsizing.
