China imported 5,638 tonnes of methionine in May 2005

According to General Administration of Customs, China imported 5,638 tonnes of methionine in May 2005, down by 251 tonnes from April, and a year-on-year increase of 1,344 tonnes.

From January to May, China's accumulative methionine imports totalled 25,266 tonnes, down by 4,432 tonnes compared with the same period in 2004.
