China lysine imports fall 1,436 tonnes; exports down by 779 tonnes in May
Import
According to the General Administration of Customs, China imported 5,049 tonnes of lysine in May 2005, down by 1,436 tonnes from April, and a rise of 130 tonnes compared with the same period in 2004.
From January to May 2005, China's accumulative lysine imports totalled 24,675 tonnes, a fall of 435 tonnes compared with the same period in 2004.
Export
China exported 2,860 tonnes of lysine in May 2005, down by 779 tonnes or 21.4 percent compared with April's exports.
From January to May 2005, China's accumulative lysine exports totalled 15,825 tonnes, up by 4,673 tonnes compared with same period in 2004.
