CBOT corn, wheat and soy futures mixed
CBOT corn, wheat and soy futures were mixed Tuesday (July 6) after the USDA said conditions for major crops are mostly in fair to excellent shape.
Corn futures were off 4 to off 5-¼, soy futures were off 5-¾ to up 1-½ and wheat futures were up 4-½ to up 6-¾.
Corn prices were off slightly as the USDA reported corn, spring wheat and soy crops all, incidentally, at 92% in fair to excellent shape, with variations in how much of each was in fair, good or excellent condition.
