Alltech expands in China with new 'green' office in Beijing

As part of its ongoing global expansion, animal health and nutrition company Alltech has announced the opening of a new office, adopting energy conversation technology, in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, China.

 

The centrally located office will focus on providing localised sales and marketing support to the growing number of partners and customers in the Beijing area, reinforcing Alltech's commitment to the Chinese animal feed and food productionindustries.

 

Located in the China Overseas Plaza in Beijing's Central Business District, Alltech's new office will house approximately 50 sales, marketing and finance employees, including the company's new East Asia Marketing Manager, Roland Matyasi and Alltech China's General Manager, Nancy Jiang.

 

The brand new China Overseas Plaza complex demonstrates cutting-edge green architecture and has been built in accordance with the international LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) standard at the LEED-CS Gold Level.  The building has been constructed so as to minimise damage to the environment and adheres strictly to LEED requirements in glass curtain wall design, lobby, elevator, air-conditioning system, and the 5A intelligent building system, providing an eco-friendly working environment.

 

"Given China's growing urban population and the increasing number of our partners and customers in central Beijing and the Hebei province, the location of our new office in the heart of Beijing's Central Business District is logical. The unique architecture of our newest Chinese office raises energy efficiency and adopts energy conservation technology, enabling us to reduce our carbon footprint," explained Steve Bourne, Vice President, Alltech Asia-Pacific.

 

Alltech China was established in 1994 in the Beijing Huairou economic development zone. In 2006, the Guangzhou, Chengdu and Qingdao offices were opened to provide direct services to the company's growing customer base in the region.
