Hamlet Protein appoints sales director

Hamlet Protein has appointed Niels Otto Damholt to the position of Sales Director as of August 1.

Damholt will be responsible for Hamlet Protein's sales and customer service outside the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The position will be based in Horsens, Denmark, and Damholt will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer of Hamlet Protein, Søren Bank. 

Damholt, 47, joins Hamlet Protein from a position as Regional Director in Danisco Animal Nutrition, bringing 20 years of background in international sales management in the animal nutrition sector to the company.

The expansion of Hamlet Protein's commercial organization comes as a result of the significant increase in the demand for Hamlet Protein's products in the soy protein market during 2010 and 2011.
