Ukraine bans poultry from Malaysia

The State Department of Veterinary Medicine in Ukraine has banned imports of poultry and poultry products from Malaysia.

The ban was introduced due to detection of avian flu in Malaysia.

Ukraine has been bird flu free and the ban was to ensure the country protected from the disease, according to the department.
