Raisio to build feed plant in Ylivieska, Finland
 

Finnish based Raisio will increase its feed production capacity in Finland's key milk production area of Ylivieska through its construction of a feed plant.

The feed plant, expected to have an annual production of 140,000 tonnes, would be built at a cost of EUR 15 million (US$19.2 million) and would be completed by the end of 2008.

Raisio Feed would also cut off manufacturing for its feed plant in Toppila. 

Leif Liedes, the president of the Feed and Malt division said Ylivieska was selected due to its good location, accessibility and existing grain storages.
