Huaxia Dairy receives US$106 million investment from GIC-led consortium

Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC and private equity firm Olympus Capital Asia are leading a consortium to invest an additional US$106 million in China's Huaxia Dairy Farm.
Of the total investment, GIC is investing US$70 million and Olympus Capital Asia is contributing US$30 million, while the remaining US$6 million will come from other existing shareholders.
Combined with its previous investment, Olympus Capital Asia is now Huaxia Dairy's largest shareholder with a capital of US$108 million.
Huaxia operates three dairy farms in Sanhe outside Beijing, and is building a fourth one in Xinghua, Jiangsu.
