Tough challenge ahead for Chinese lysine market
Lysine prices dipped further during the week ending July 2.
As soymeal prices dipped amid ample supplies, feed millers limited lysine purchases in anticipation of reduced usages, especially as animal feed demand increased slowly.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine softened to RMB10.70-10.80/kg.
Buyers will hold back lysine purchases in the coming period as the prospects of China's economy looked bleak while the government tightens control over loans to enterprises.
