ISA Iberia to distribute day-old layer chick in Spain, Portugal

 
 

Layer breeding company ISA, a subsidiary of Hendrix Genetics, has revealed the setup of ISA Iberia, to improve service for the European market with day old layer chicks.

 

ISA Iberia shall have its premises in La Coruña, Spain and its  commercial team consists of Juan Carlos Martinez and Joel Estevinho.

 

The company will initially source ISA Brown and Dekalb White day old layers from the ISA-owned Saint Marcellin hatchery in France, with its 10 million chick capacity hatchery close to the Spanish border. It will be fully dedicated to the Spanish and Portuguese markets. ISA will further develop its Iberian poultry production infrastructure in order to gain more than 50% market share for its products.

 

ISA Iberia is part of the downstream activities that ISA is developing in Europe together with SFPA in France, Joice and Hill in the UK and Integra in the Czech Republic. ISA will further develop its European distribution structure to establish a European network of hatcheries (both as company owned and as independent franchisers) that can serve all European clients with any quantity of first class quality day old chicks.

 

The layer breeding company, ISA, is part of Hendrix Genetics. ISA delivers (Grand) Parent Stock to the world's egg industry in more than 100 countries, from 12 operational centres in five countries on four continents. Both white and brown egg layer genetic products are sold under the brand names ISA, Shaver, Babcock, Bovans, Hisex and Dekalb.
