Vietnam imports US$1.022 billion animal feed in January-June

About US$1.022 billion have been spent by Vietnam on importing animal feed and material in the first half of this year, the General Statistics Office said.

The figure represented an on-year fall of 13%, the office said.

In June, the country bought animal feed and materials for its production worth US$210 compared to US$207 million in the previous month.

Last year, Vietnam imported US$2.33 billion of raw materials to make animal feed, increasing 7.2% from 2010.
