CBOT grains futures trade mixed
Grains futures were mixed Thursday (Jul 1) on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery jumped 19.5 cents to US$4.9975 a bushel, while September corn rose 10.5 cents to US$3.7325 a bushel and oats for July delivery dropped 13.25 cents to US$2.4175 a bushel. November soy added three cents to US$9.055 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle slipped 0.07 cent to 89.95 cents a pound; August feeder cattle lost 0.45 cent to US$1.126 a pound; August lean hogs edged up 0.2 cent to 81.85 cents a pound; and July pork bellies shed 0.4 cent to 99.1 cents a pound.
