Last year, Indonesia produced 60.33 million tonnes of unmilled rice.
Indonesia's production of corn has also been revised up, said Dwijosumono. The country will produce 17.04 million tonnes, up from a previous estimate of 16.48 million tonnes.
Last year, Indonesia produced 16.32 million tonnes of corn.
Soy production is also expected up, at 924,511 tonnes from a previous estimate of 850,000 tonnes.
Last year, Indonesia produced 775,710 tonnes of soy.
This is the second time this year the agency has released estimates for Indonesia's production of rice, corn and soy. It last released estimates for the production of such commodities in March and will make its final estimate in the third quarter of this year.
