Argentina inks poultry deal with Venezuela
Argentina has recently agreed to sell a certain amount of poultry meat monthly to Venezuela, according to Centro de Empresas Procesadoras Avicolas (CEPA) and Corporacion de Abastecimiento y Servicios Agricolas (CASA).
Argentina will sell 3,000 tonnes of poultry meat to Venezuela per month, the agencies said.
Poultry meat exports from Argentina fell 15.9 percent in the first five months of this year to US$85.3 million when compared to the same period in 2008.
