Rising output costs lift China niacinamide prices

Prices moved marginally higher during the period in review.
Lonza, one of the largest producer of niacinamide, lifted price quotes during late June amid rising output costs. However, most producers remained prudent about increasing prices as the demand for feed and hence niacinamide showed little improvement.

Price quotes of one major producer were stable at RMB45/kg. Price quotes of other producers remained in the range of RMB42-43/kg.

Feed demand should improve at a faster rate with the recovery of livestock industry gaining pace, lending support to niacinamide market in conjunction with higher production costs.
