BASF to halt vitamin B2 production in Gunsan plant

BASF is to shut down production of vitamin B2 at its facility in Gunsan, South Korea, for a routine overhaul for a few weeks in August 2009.

 

BASF will continue to meet all its supply commitments to customers during that time. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is used in animal and human nutrition. BASF's fermentatively produced vitamin B2 is GMO free.
