Whey traders were more cautious in cutting prices after the recent round of price slash, as import costs of US whey stopped falling. May whey import totalled 38,900 tonnes, higher than April's 35,800 tonnes by almost 9%. Compared with a year ago, whey imports have increased tremendously by 19%.
