CBOT grains, livestock futures trade lower
Grains futures and livestock futures declined on the CBOT on Tuesday (June 29).
Wheat futures for September delivery dropped eight cents to US$4.57 a bushel, while September corn slid nine cents to US$3.3325 a bushel and oats for July delivery sank 13 cents to US$2.485 a bushel.
November soy futures edged down 6.5 cents to US$9.12 a bushel. Meanwhile, beef and pork futures also traded mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle futures lost 0.92 cents to 88.75 cents a pound. August feeder cattle fell 1.1 cents to US$1.1287 a pound. August lean hogs shed 1.22 cents to 80.95 cents a pound and July pork bellies were flat at US$1.012 a pound.
