Anhui Hewei to open chicken processing plant in Hefei
Chinese poultry processor Anhui Hewei Agricultural Development Company Limited will open a large chicken processing plant in Feidong New Developed Area of Hefei Municipal by the end of 2008.
The 300-mu large processing facility costs RMB 230 million (US$33.5 million) and is expected to process 200 million birds per year with an annual output value of RMB 6 billion (US$875 million).
The processing plant, which is the sixth poultry project developed by Hewei in Hefei, is expected to help solve Hefei poultry market's processing problems.
