eFeedLink launches brand new hog and poultry sites

Since June, the industry can now enjoy two new offerings of web-based news and information for China.

China hog and China poultry websites, offshoots of eFeedLink's popular Chinese portal www.eFeedLink.com.cn, were started to provide the animal husbandry community a wider choice of daily news on China's two largest livestock sectors.

Offering an extensive overview of the vast Chinese market, news from both sites are culled daily from over 500 data sources spread over nine key production provinces: Hebei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Liaoning and Henan towards the central-north; Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi to the south, and Sichuan in China's central region.

Covering the live hog, piglet, broiler, layer and day-old chick markets, both websites offer daily price monitors and market summaries, weekly updates, customs' data, feed technology and news on the relevant livestock and feed markets in China and global markets.

eFeedLink also launched in May a short-message-service or SMS subscription for news updates on the live hog, broiler and layer markets in China, sent to mobile phones. Fairly priced, relevant and convenient, this service has been greatly welcomed particularly by farmers.

Both services are available via subscription.

The new website and SMS services are eFeedLink's first information service offerings (apart from its main news portal) since its five years in China. The hog website can be reached via three URLs: www.hogcn.com, www.hogcn.cn and hog.eFeedLink.com.cn. The poultry site may be accessed by these ULRs: www.poultrycn.com; www.poultry.cn and poultry.efeedlink.com.cn.
