Jordan Tenders For 100,000 MT Hard Wheat

Jordan's Trade and Industry Ministry has issued a tender to buy 100,000 metric tons of optional origin hard wheat, traders said Monday.
 
The tender is for shipment in two 50,000 tons cargoes, one for second half of July and one for the first half of August while the tender deadline is on July 13, traders said.
 
"Australia and the U.S. have submitted bids that are very close. It depends on the freight which one will be more competitive," a trader said.
 
At its last tender on June 2, Jordan bought 100,000 tons of U.S. and optional origin hard wheat.
