China lysine prices climb to 16-month high
Lysine prices surged further during the week ending June 27.
Although soymeal prices showed signs of softening lately, lysine producers stood firm while corn prices moved higher, lifting the production costs.
Over the week, lysine prices increased 4.3% to levels unseen since October 2014.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were higher at RMB5.50/kg.
