USDA says 150,000 tonnes of corn sold to Egypt in 2005/06

Private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture export sales of 150,000 tonnes of corn for delivery to Egypt during the 2005/06 marketing year, the USDA said Tuesday (Jun 27).

The 2005/06 marketing year for corn began Sep 1.

The USDA only makes daily announcements of registered corn export sales if the amount is 100,000 tonnes or more for individual exporters. Smaller sales are tallied up into weekly reports.
