Belarus to form national dairy enterprise
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered to create a national dairy organisation which will process one million tonnes of milk annually by the end of the year.
Lukashenko paid a visit to Brest Region on Thursday (Jun 23).
Speaking to top executives of Santa Bremor and Savushkin Produkt companies, Lukashenko said they should treat all the companies that would make part of the national company as their own.
Earlier, Agriculture Minister Mikhail Rusy said that the new milk company would incorporate Savushkin Produkt, Bereza factory, Kobrin dairy factory, Luninets dairy farm, OAO GMZ1 and OAO GMZ2.
The company may be established as a holding or close joint-stock company.
