China set to import grain from Kazakhstan
China has recently entered into an agreement with Kazakhstan to import grain from the country.
The announcement was made after the business-forum organized by the Socio-Entrepreneurial Corporation "Ontustik.'' During which, a memorandum on cooperation between Regional Agrocomplex Ontustik (subsidiary company of SEC) and Association of industrial markets of Chinese People's Republic was signed.
The document defines the companies from Kazakhstan and China that plan to cooperate in different directions, particularly on grain and flour export from Kazakhstan.
Rausa Duisebayeva, coordinator of the business-forum, said they are interested in investments in agriculture.
Chzhan Yuysi, board chairman of the association of industrial markets of China, said his group is interested in grain and flour import from Kazakhstan.
