China's methionine import volume rises in May
China's methionine imports in May registered 8,847 tonnes, up by 1,100 tonnes from April's.
Average import price in May was US$3.46/kg, up by US$0.23/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,180 tonnes), France (1,200 tonnes) and US (1,060 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during the month in review.
