Lohmann Animal Health Opens New Mexican Subsidiary

Lohmann Animal Health's 18th subsidiary, Lohmann Animal Health Mexico S.A. de C.V. opens in Jalisco, Mexico, as a result of the purchase of the assets of Laboratorios Gortie, a distributor of Lohmann Animal Health products in Mexico for over 20 years.

"Our customers in Mexico will not notice a difference with change other than the name of the company," Lohmann Animal Health vice president of sales, Bodo Mayerhof said. "They will continue to receive the same great service and products they have become accustomed since we first began working with Laboratorios Gortie in 1990."

The same diverse line of Lohmann Animal Health vaccines will be available. Lohmann Animal

Health Mexico S.A. de C.V. will be a distribution site with no on-site production. Current

Laboratorios Gortie employees remain on staff with Lohmann Animal Health Mexico S.A. de C.V.

Lohmann Animal Health, based in Cuxhaven Germany is one of the world wide leading manufacturers of feed additives and poultry vaccines.
