Alltech Philippines opens third satellite headquarters

Alltech Philippines has opened its third satellite office in North Luzon region in San Fernando City, Pampanga, on June 20, 2007.

 

Company executives graced the affair including Alltech Philippines General Manager Dr Noel Cuyno, DVM and Orla McAleer, Alltech's marketing manager for Asia-Pacific.  Farm owners and industry players were also present on the occasion.

 

The choice of Pampanga province as its third centre of operations was a unanimous pick for Alltech Philippines, according to Cuyno. "Pampanga is quite strategic as it is like the meat processing capital of the Philippines and it is not too far from Bulacan province which has a high density of livestock farming. And San Fernando is a city, its quite accessible to major facilities and services. Our selection for this area just shows that we want to be closer to our clients in this region," he said.

 

McAleer presented Alltech's future activities, including its major sponsorship to the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky and its forthcoming Feed Symposium Asia Pacific Lecture where the Philippines is scheduled on November.

 

The company is also bent on opening more offices in the Luzon area but for the meantime, Alltech wants to have its present felt in North Luzon where livestock and poultry farming are vibrant. "We want to be visible in this part of the country as we can accommodate more provinces from here. A number of companies have expanded but they have contracted and just maintained their offices in Manila. For us, we want to branch out significantly and most importantly, we want to have closer relations, higher visibility and send out a strong commitment to our clients that we are here on a long run, we are a local company but with a vast global affiliation." 

 

Alltech maintains its general headquarters in Alabang in southern Manila and its second provincial office in Davao in Mindanao region.
