The hot summer weather cast a shadow on US soy harvest in the mid-west region. Consequently, a bullish CBOT soy futures market, which sent July contracts higher by 4.8%, boosted China's soymeal markets over the week. The rally over the past four weeks has increased China's soymeal prices by almost 5%.
