Philippine hog weekly: Farmgate hog prices upbeat on rising demand (week ended Jun 19, 2012)
Traders say the upbeat market trend might also be due to consumers' seemingly sudden clamour for pork over a looming meat holiday. Farmers however are happy with the way prices have been going as this month is usually an off season for them.
