Tyumen-Fechta producing equipment to boost poultry output

Tyumen-Fechta, a joint Russian-German venture, has begun producing the new Big Dutchman equipment for poultry management with the aim of tripling the production capacity of the Russian poultry plants.

The standard poultry house used across Russia has two or three level cages of up to 2.5 metres high, but the Tyumen plant will produce eight-level cage equipment. Use of this equipment will eliminate the need of heating in winter in poultry factories, as the large number of poultry will provide the necessary temperature.

Tyumen-Fechta is the Russian leader in the production of cage equipment for poultry factories. OAO Tyumenskie Motorostroiteli (The Tyumen Engine Builders), with a 49 percent share, and Germany's Big Dutchman (51 percent) are the company's founders. The production facilities are located on the premises of the Tyumenskie Motorostroiteli plant.
