Vietnam poultry processor opens plant in Mekong Delta
Huynh Gia Huynh De Co. Ltd. on Monday (June 22) inaugurated a poultry processing factory in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, the largest one in southern Vietnam in terms of capacity.
The company's general director Chau Nhut Trung said the factory can process 2,000 ducks and 4,000 chickens hourly and will streamline safe poultry production for the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) market.
Paste, sausage, duck liver and fast food are the main products of the factory.
Huynh Gia Huynh De – a leading poultry supplier in HCMC - has invested over VND230 billion in the large scale factory.
The company has also invested in standard poultry farms in the Mekong Delta and cooperates with local farmers in a closed breeding process to provide safe poultry for the factory.
Meanwhile, Phu An Sinh, another large poultry supplier, plans to build farms and processing factories in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
