Argentina's 2006-07 wheat sales at 8.82 million tonnes
Argentina's 06-07 wheat sales totalled 8.820 million metric tonnes as of Friday (June 22), according to the Agriculture Secretariat's updated data.
In March the government closed the registry for new wheat exports in the face of soaring export declarations.
By this time last year, Argentina had sold 7.050 million tonnes of 05-06 wheat, the Secretariat said Friday.
The Secretariat provided the following information for 2006-07 and 2005-06 wheat sales in thousands of metric tonnes by destination.
