China's Soybean Exports in May Up 19.5% to 41, 937 MT 
    

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China exported a total of 41,937 metric tons of soybeans in May 2004, registering a year-on-year increase of 19.5%.

From January to May 2004, China's accumulative soybean exports were up 21.90% to 170,041 tons, the Customs data shows.  Of the total exports, 19,309 tons were exported to Japan, 12,322 tons to North Korea, 5,493 tons to South Korea, 2,908 tons to the United States, 353 tons to the Philippines, 281 tons to Taiwan, and 260 tons to the United Kingdom.
