Vietnam planning to raise salmon for export

Vietnam may be a tropical country but it has plans to begin raising salmon for export in its regions where the temperatures are cooler. 

The pilot project to raise the fish started at the beginning of this year at the Sapa tourism resort in the mountainous Lao Cai province, more than 400 km (250 miles) northwest of Hanoi. The project will soon be expanded to other cold water areas.
