Vietnam extends ban on poultry egg incubation
Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has lengthened its ban on egg incubation for breeding poultry and the building of new waterfowl and quail flocks till February 2006. The ministry had initially planned for the ban to remain till the end of this year.
The State Bank of Vietnam has also asked urged commercial banks not to provide loans for farmers and businesses who produce breeding poultry and develop water-bird flocks.
