China Whey Weekly: Prices flat despite high import costs (week ended Jun 21, 2014)
Even though the costs of US whey imports stayed firm, China’s whey prices were flat while lower hog prices impeded the sales of piglet. With the outlook of the hog market uncertain and piglet population growth slow, feed millers limited the purchases of whey products.
