Borisov Meat Packing Plant's exports rise
After Borisov Meat Packing Plant concluded its news contracts on sausage products deliveries to wholesalers in Moscow and Moscow Oblast, Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, Bryansk Oblast, Smolensk Oblast, and other regions of Russia, the company's exports increase.
For instance, the volume of deliveries has stepped up 58.5% over the first five months of 2011. The company sells its products on the Russia market via the Moscow wholesale store. Borisov Meat Packing Plant also signed contracts on direct supplies with other wholesalers and legal entities.
The company has also tapped new sales markets. It started deliveries to Karelia (Petrozavodsk and Kostomuksha), and Bryansk Oblast (Unecha) of the Russian Federation. The company has recently shipped sausage products to Jordan. The first batch was rather small, some 0.5 tonnes. The second batch is about to be shipped. The sausage products will be sold in Jordan through the chain stores in the regions, where Russian and Belarusian diasporas live.
Borisov Meat Packing Plant was founded in 1933. It is one of the major meat processing companies in Belarus today. The company's lineup features more than 300 items. The monthly output of the plant amounts to near 600 tonnes of sausage products and 300 tonnes of semi-finished products. The company employs more than 1,300 people.
