Corn prices in China mixed; prices strengthen in north-eastern regions on low supplies (June 23, 2005)
An eFeedLink exclusive report
Corn prices in China were mixed early this week. Prices continued to strengthen in the north-eastern production regions as supplies ran low.
Prices of corn in the southern consumption regions remained generally stable; however, prices moved lower in some areas as rainstorms affected sales in recent days.
Meanwhile, light trade in the Yellow / Huai River production regions continued to put downward pressure on prices.
