Tunisia buys 125,000 tonnes soft milling wheat
Tunisia on Thursday (June21) bought 125,000 metric tonnes of soft milling wheat for shipment during July and August, on a cost and freight basis, according to state-run Office Des Cereales.
The wheat is of optional origin and was bought in a tender that closed Wednesday (June 20) at the price of US$275 a tonne.
The official didn't disclose the name of the company from whom the wheat was purchased.
Tunisia last bought wheat on May 28 when it purchased 90,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat at US$248.89/tonne.
