Viktoriya farm to construct grain-loading ground worth US$248,000

 

 

By November 2012, a grain-loading ground into rail wagons at the Virinskyi Zavod station worth UAH2 million (US$248,000) is being planned to be built by Viktoriya farm firm (Sumy region), as stated by the Sumy Regional State Administration.

 

The project envisages upgrades of 240 metres if rail tracks installation of a 150-tonne scale and redevelopment of the ground territory.

 

The grain-loading ground capacity will be 16 wagons or 800-1,000 tonnes of grain a day.

 

It will be commissioned on October 1, 2012.

 

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Viktoriya farm firm has plans to build a 30,000-tonne grain-drying complex in the village of Zhovtneve, Bilopillia district and invest UAH5 million (US$619,000) in its construction by November 2012.

 

Viktoriya farm firm grows grain and technical crops, makes bread and bakery goods, milling and groats products, rearing cattle and swine.

 

The firm currently tills 15,900 hectares of field.
